Adobe Activision Creative Jam: Playmakr
My childhood best friend, Dawnee, and I participated in a virtual UX design competition sponsored by Adobe during the 2020 pandemic. Without any illustration or UX background, we signed up. We took this challenge as a learning opportunity to understand more about user experience designing (also we were stuck at home with nothing to do)!
Out of 200+ entries, we were awarded 5th Place.

Parenting has never been harder. With COVID-19, parents are taking care of their children while working from home.

Strategy
Our app can help parents understand how video games can enhance and add to their families’ lives, and present an easier, more convenient way of parenting.

Pain Points
In our survey with the respondents of 130 parents, we researched and collected their pain points in searching for games. We took our findings and used our app to solve these pain points.
Researching games for my children is too time consuming
There are too many options
I just don’t have enough information about each game
